For me, figure drawing is body positivity. Ever since my first life drawing class when I was a junior in high school, I have felt such reverence and respect for the human body. Many of these drawings are from 2016, when I belonged to a figure drawing collective. We took turns modeling for each other and shared our art in a safe space. I will always be grateful for that experience.
